Launched only weeks ago, Ô Liban is about to prove itself as the newest breakfast spot in Bahrain.

This paired back, contemporary Lebanese spot in Adliya opened earlier this year to much well-deserved fanfare. A Lebanese that you can have a glass of Chateau Ksara wine, drink an Almaza beer, smoke your sheesha and get good food!? Yep, it ticks all those boxes.

So, after 6 months since its launch, Ô Liban is now offering Lebanese breakfast dishes throughout the week. Opening from 9am daily, it is a great place to catch up with friends, take a morning work meeting over coffee and a Mankoushe or bring the family to dine.

The beautiful interiors and sunlight room lend themselves to daytime dining and for those to trepid to head to Adliya at night (traffic, parking etc) then a day trip is much more feasible.

What did I try?

• Eggs with Awarma & Pine Seeds To know me is to know I adore Awarma (lamb confit), and the heady combo of it with egg yolks is a rich and decadent start to the day.
• Intoxicatingly fragrant Za’atar Mankouche
• A heady combination in the Foul Avocado, with mashed avocado, fava beans and topped with poached eggs.
• While the Cheese Mankoushe uses my favourite Akkawi cheese on their freshly made dough - a must try.

Other breakfast items include shakshuka, chickpea dishes, and a few sweet options too.
