What a meditative, mindful process this was. Understanding the rituals, appreciating the seasons and learning a bit more about this ancient practice.
Nestled in a small tearoom in Andalus Gardens (Adliya), Chawan brings her years long experience to us here in Bahrain where we can learn from this certified tea ceremony master who has been under tutelage for nearly a decade now.
During the ceremony you get to watch matcha tea being prepared and sip on this smooth, calming drink, appreciate the beautiful ceramics used for the ritual and take part in the traditions.
