When the weather is dusty or it feels like your insides might melt from the heat (summer in the Gulf!) then these indoor activities are a way to keep yourself entertained. I've tried them all and loved each and every activity!
This art studio is the place to go for making mosaics, however I love to head here to have a jump into their crystal pit! Soak up all that magic crystal energy for a few minutes, pick up some nick nacks and feel ready to face whatever the world throws at you.

Willy Wonka has nothing on Spun Candy's candy masterclass. An hour of absolute fun (adults enjoy this just as much as kids, trust me!) learning the art of traditional candy making, then wondering home on a sugar high from consuming whatever you made.

Another one that is just as fun for adults as kids, is the indoor obstacle course and rock climbing center in Zinj. Make sure to try all the offerings they have for a an entertaining couple of hours.

Whether you can paint or not, this fun Saturday afternoon activity is perfect for a bit of mindfulness, away from your mobile fun. Sip on bubbles or wine, meet new people and learn to paint in a welcoming atmosphere.
