My two favourite words in the English language are ‘Happy Hour’! Is there anything better than drinks, with friends in those lovely hours after work and before dinner…
Here are some of my favourite happy hours in Bahrain:
The Foundry
Daily from 5-8pm
Get 2 for 1 on select cocktails. Then hit their bar menu, like I do…with comforting options like the generously filled jalapeno cheese bites. Be warned, they are addictively good.

CUT Lounge
Weekdays 5pm-7pm, Weekends 4pm-7pm
Peruse a special happy hour menu with cocktails, prosecco, wine and more on it. There are a few happy hour bites on the menu too. This is by far my number #1 most visited happy hour…from the excellent staff to the stunning view. You can’t go wrong.

Calexico
Daily 2pm-7pm
“Tarde En La Terezze” Though they don’t call it a happy hour, we would say that a 3pm-7pm drinks offer is just that! Order their house margaritas as well as taco/starter combo for special prices.

Cantina Kahlo
Daily 4pm-6pm
Another fantastic Mexican restaurant and this time with a buy 1 get 1 on their delicious margaritas. While you’re there don’t hesitate to order their guacamole to line your stomach, it’s a must-try.

Bushido
Daily 3pm-7pm
This Seef stalwart has a special happy hour drinks menu with all items at 2.5 BD. In cool weather sit outside on their terrace while indoors beckons in the summer. Once you’re done with drinks you may want to then pick a few items from their sushi menu too.

Daily 5pm-8pm
This fun Adliya spot has a happy great vibe and is perfect for kicking back with a few happy hour drinks. They have cocktails, beer, wine and spirits for you to choose from. So sit back and enjoy!
