When my lovely Lebanese neighbour recommended a little place called Manoosha Cafe I just had to go and see for myself where she was trundling to for her savoury bites. And oh my was I impressed.
Freshly baked manakish, wraps, dips and more are all being served from this unassuming Budaiya outlet. I was whisked away to the streets of Beirut with each bite.
My tips:
Definitely try all the freshly baked manakeesh while you wait
There are plenty of tables, so it is a perfect spot for dining it.
I went for a breakfast, so had to succumb to my awarma (lamb confit) addiction with an omelette. Be warned it is a heavy dish…but totally worth it.
Since visiting I have ordered from them for parties, gatherings and more... I get their mini shawarmas, mini manakeesh, fattoosh, tabbouleh, moutabel and hummus.
