I'm Crazy Bao-It!

The newest brunch on the island has appeared in the form of David’s Stir Fry Crazy. This stalwart Chinese restaurant in Adliya has been a firm favourite with everyone over the years, from David’s charming smile on entering, to their huge menu and solid, consistently good dishes on every visit.

David’s is now offering a Dim Sum Brunch every Friday, for 15 BD per person. Over 10 types of dim sum/dumplings are on the menu and two desserts, plus you can order as much as you like. Our group of eight ordered two of each dish and waited eagerly for them to arrive.

From the Hong Kong style pork buns (baked char Siu buns) that first appeared, to the edamame & truffle gow, lemon & chilli dumplings, Szechuan wontons and Cantonese turnip cake (so good! I promise!). Dish after dish showed up, one after the other and each as delicious as the last. Our eyes glistened and we all exclaimed at the feast before us.

Price: BD 15 per person

Alcohol: Though alcohol isn’t included in the package, you can order separate. I had a couple of Tiger Beers while some of our table ordered cocktails
