If you’re after a traditional Bahraini breakfast, then it is worth heading to Naseef’s newest of locations in Muharraq.
Of course, when I go for a local brekky, I am always over-keen, over-order and then over-eat! But Naseef's fare (and water side location) makes it all worthwhile.
This location for Naseef is a gem, with covered parking, sea views and wonderful staff. It is no wonder that whether you go on a weekday or weekend this place is bustling with diners.
The set Bahraini Breakfast is perfectly satisfying with dishes like balaleet (sweet noodles with egg), egg & tomato, tasty nikhee (chickpeas), falafel, foul (fava bean mash), potatoes and mehyawa.
I always order some zinjibari (akin to mini donuts), drool worthy cheese samboosa and a labnah and zaatar saaj (flatbread) to the order as well. All washed down with karak tea and plenty of fresh juice.
Naseef is the perfect spot for families, for visitors and generally for showing off some of our local delights.
