One hump good, two humps bad
I finally did it. Ticked off something from when I first wrote my Bahrain Bucket List a decade ago, trying Camel Burgers!
It turns out the humps don’t mean a thing, it’s the size of the camel that matters! Smaller camels are tastier according to the staff at Round Burger in Adliya, one of the only places that sell camel burgers on the island.
Ours were juicy, dense and a bit gamey. Definitely worth trying out once in your life.
The spot is a small cafe in the back streets of Adliya, with one table inside and a few outside.
They are also on Talabat (delivery app), but I think eating it freshly made right there is part of the experience.
Round Burger is also home to Duck Burgers too!
