I haven't tried all the burgers in Bahrain...we are ridiculously spoilt with so many options here (I mean, we even call a roundabout after a burger shop!) so I can't write a 'top' list. But I can tell you where I go for some of my favourite burgers on the island.
In no particular order...
The GB Burger - what started as a Lockdown Burger during the pandemic has become a popular permanent item on their menu. Get it at GB Cafe at the Bahrain Fort.
Black Stripe opened a truck behind Bahrain Financial Harbour during the pandemic and have been feeding us excellent burgers ever since. A concept from the team behind Joe Mama Burgers, which sadly closed down a few years ago. I hear they will have a permanent location soon too. Huzzah!
The Tikka Burger from Blaze Burgers is paired back and uses quality ingredients. Nothing fancy schmancy here...just a beautiful burger from one of Bahrain's oldest burger joints. New to the Oak menu, the Double Smash Burger is the perfect juicy bite, without being too heavy.
Other burgers I just love to indulge in:
CUT's sliders, Bahrain Bay (do sliders count?!)
Shake Shake, The Avenues & City Center
