But no one tells you that buying celery here is so painfully expensive it might put you into debt!! Good lord…my tomatoes, my aubergine, my herbs are all reasonable…but celery is ridiculously pricey.
My heart jumps a beat on the rare occasion I buy it. Of course, once you’ve bought some there are so many god damn sticks of it you end up eating celery for days so as not to waste it.
Hence my creative and tasty ideas for using it up for lunch last week. So tasty that I’m already thinking about my next celery purchase.
Two super quick recipes you will love and might even be worth the price tag!
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, season to taste, enjoy!
Add the chickpeas to a bowl and smash with the back of your fork, add in the rest of the ingredients and toss together. Season to taste, enjoy!
