Katana Torii opened in 2022 in Juffair offering a range of Japanese bites do diners in the area.
From a hip ground floor sushi bar, to low ceiling 2nd floor dining and a Japanese bbq area. There is plenty to choose from at Katana Torii. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially when going through the pretty extensive menu to make your pick.
On my visit I ordered a range of dishes to scope out what might be a sleeper hit (and yes I did find one!).
Our order:
- Shrimp & Chicken Dumplings
- Seafood Okonomiyaki
- Crispy Sushi Rice with spicy tuna; a tricky dish to eat but good flavour
- Spicy Salmon Tacos topped with fresh seaweed; hard to eat but worth the mess!
- Beef Garlic Chilli ramen; with a fantastic chilli garlic broth. Highly recommend visiting for this.
Will I be back? YES! Will I stop thinking about those noodles? NO!
