Kimchi & Honey Grilled Cheese Sandwich

The ulimate grilled cheese sandwich

Ingredients
 

  • 0.5 cup Kimchi
  • 150 grams Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp Gochujang (Korean Chilli Paste)
  • 4 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Slices Bread
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp Butter

Instructions
 

  • Put the pan on a medium high heat
  • Spread butter on the outside of your bread slices
  • Layer the kimchi, cheese, gojuchang and basil inside your sandwich
  • Cook in the pan for 4-5 minutes each side
  • Remove from the pan and drizzle with honey, sesame seeds and sea salt. Enjoy!

Layers of kimchi, sharp cheddar, gochujang (korean chili paste) and fresh basil leaves are sandwiched between buttery bread with sesame seeds, honey and sea salt to top it. ⁣

Be warned this ridiculously epic symphony of flavours is for grown ups only (or of course, my dog, who sat by my feet mopping up any spillage).⁣ ⁣
