Heading out this weekend? Don’t want the hassle of parking? Or slow moving traffic? Looking to not spend more than a few dinars? Then I implore you to consider a dinner down the souk.
Forget Adliya, it’s all about the Bab!
I’ve previously always headed to Haji's Cafe for breakfast but on a recent night out decided to try their dinner menu.
A perfect spot to graze on delicious grills; tikka, kebab and lamb chops. Of course with a good ol’ lashing of hummus and their comforting cheese filled flatbreads, all cooked in a huge fire oven a few steps from where you sit.
The charm of Haji’s remains decades after it has opened. The tiffany blue painted traditional tables and chairs lining the narrow alleyway are a perfect spot to sit back and watch the world go by.
Feeling full after scoffing down your meal, then go for a stroll around the souk to digest and shop. You saved yourself plenty of money with your meal, so go splurge on something purtyyyy.
