From now until next Spring I will resolutely refuse to sit indoors. I am going to terrace hop, rooftop crawl and generally plonk myself in any garden I can.
The weather is dreamy and I can now perch myself on one of the prettiest terraces in Bahrain…. Attic in Adliya.
I visit a few times a year, only to hijack the comfy sofas seats, gape at the gorgeous views and pick at some starters while drinking a chilled glass of wine.
It is a lovely spot for a few sundowners and some bites, however I wouldn't necessarily have a full meal here. Dishes to try:
And why not splurge on a nice wine like the Gavi Di Gavi or the Chablis.
PS a 4.30-5pm booking is just about perfect right now (early November) and if they mention a 35 BD minimum spend (which is ridiculous if you aren't staying for a proper dinner), then kick up a fuss.
