Rinse your green beans and then blanch in boiling water for 3-5 minutes
Remove the beans from the water and pat dry
Trim about 2 inches long
Add the green beans to the chickpeas, gently mix through the pesto (homemade or store bought)
For an added touch you can sprinkle some fried onions on this (I always keep some in my freezer)
