Zesty Persian-Inspired Black Lime Salmon Tacos

Tangy black lime adds some zing to these easy-to-make salmon tacos

  • 2 Salmon fillet (1 per person)
  • 0.25 cup Black lime powder
  • 1 cup Mango salsa
  • 6 Tortillas
  • 0.5 cup Coriander Fresh


  • Preheat the oven to around 425 degrees
  • Take your salmon out of the fridge and brush the black lime seasoning generously on top
  • Once the oven is pre-heated, bake it in a shallow tray for 25 minutes
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and flake with a fork
  • Spread either sour cream or greek yoghurt on your tortilla, top with flaked salmon, mango salsa and fresh coriander. Enjoy!


This black lime salmon taco is the perfect midweek meal, both healthy and filling. The black lime powder is an essential in any Persian household and a great addition in your kitchen too. It adds a sour zingy zestiness, that goes so well with the flaky salmon and sweet mango salsa. 
How to make a quick Mango Salsa?
  • 1 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 0.5 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 0.5 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • huice of 1 lime
  •  Salt and pepper to taste
Add the ingredients to a large bowl, gently toss and leave for 30 minutes for the flavours to combine together.
